Privacy was taken for granted, and the thought of America becoming a dictatorial police state was the stuff of late night science fiction movies. Then 9/11 happened, and the country went nuts. The Patriot Act, video cameras everywhere, citizens living in fear of their own government - it was like something out of the novel 1984.

At the time, many assumed that it was nothing more than a shoddy Administration, and that the tyranny would end when a Democrat was elected. But things only got worse. And now, with the passage of the NDAA (waiting only for Obama's signature), it looks as though America is about to descend into a full-on police state.

The most frightening aspect, in my opinion, is that there is absolutely zero justification for any of this, and that our government is subjecting us to tyranny "just to be doing it" - because they feel like it, I guess. Even worse, my generation is the last that will remember what real freedom feels like. 9/11 was ten years ago. An eighteen year old would have been eight when it happened, and will have no concept of the old America. People can try to tell them about it, but words are no substitute for experience. Younger generations will think tyranny is normal, and twenty years from now the old way of life will be a distant and antiquated memory.

There are a million conspiracy theories out there, and half of them are probably true. We've put ourselves out there on the line, trying our best to inform the public, and it didn't seem to do much good. Folks get defensive when you preach at them, and most people don't want to hear that their apathy is the same thing as saying yes to evil.

At this late stage in the game, I can only think of one reasonable solution: We need to elect Ron Paul as President of the United States.

As a true skeptic, I trust no politician fully. The way I see it, anyone in a high position of power must be "in on it" in some way or other. But Ron Paul seems to be legit. At the very least, he will be our first real President in a very long time, instead of just another face in the revolving door of Globalists (like the rest of the Republican candidates). And America needs a real President right now. Someone who will try to put the brakes on the downfall of our country.

Are American citizens ready for a real President - one who will defend the Bill of Rights of the U.S. Constitution - or are they going to put yet another Globalist in office who will further advance the Agenda of the New World Order? My advice to those considering the latter: Be careful. The Agenda seems to be in its final stages, and four more years may be all it takes to complete it. In other words, if you choose poorly at the voting booth in 2012, it may be the last time you get to choose anything at all.

I want to go on record and say that I am opposed to the tyranny of the Globalists. They have destroyed the Constitution, they have wrapped America in a blanket of fear, and they are dangerously close to transforming the country into something that resembles the tyranny of North Korea. They must be stopped, and it must be done peacefully.

Maybe electing Ron Paul will solve the problem and maybe it won't, but we have to try. The combination of the NDAA, the new SOPA internet bill, and the Patriot Act can potentially shatter our nation beyond repair.

I have fond memories of freedom, and it's sorrowful to think that soon freedom may be gone forever. To anyone reading this blog who cherishes liberty, I say this to you: For the love of God, don't let it go down this way.

by Bryan DiTolvo
